United Way of Pike County once a year has a grant opportunity for not-for-profit agencies that serve our community. The grant application process usually happens in the fall.
To be eligible your agency has to serve Pike County, Indiana, have a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and provide health and human services.
The United Way of Pike County board has taken a more specific direction in funding through this application process. With the current economic times, needs will be reviewed more specifically. How your organization impacts Pike County will hold tremendous weight in this application as well as how many Pike County residents are served. We are looking for programs rather than “bricks and sticks” type of requests. Salaries and transportation costs will not be considered.
A deployment committee will review these grant requests and make recommendations with final approval from the United Way of Pike County Board.
If you have any questions, please contact the office at 812-582-9781 or unitedwaypike@frontier.com
