Volunteers are the backbone of the United Way organization. We have an annual Day of Caring in Pike County every September. Our Day of Caring this year is TO BE ANNOUNCED in September, which is a one day work blitz to assist with work that normally could not be done.
United Way of Pike County supplies the volunteers to work at our local not-for-profit agencies and organizations. Every volunteer receives a t-shirt and starts the day with a donated breakfast. The volunteers are then sent out to their jobs and are treated to a donated lunch.
